Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Delhi Divyyang Sports Association (DDSA), we deeply appreciate the support and contributions from our athletes, members, donors, and volunteers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the refund of donations, membership fees, and event registration charges.

By making a payment or donation on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

1. Donations & Financial Contributions

  • As a non-profit organization, all donations made to DDSA are voluntary and strictly used to support the development of Divyangjan, sports training, and social welfare programs.
  • Generally, donations are non-refundable once the transaction is successfully processed.
  • In the rare event of an erroneous or accidental double deduction from your bank account, you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction with proof of the deduction. We will review the claim and process a refund for the duplicate transaction if verified.

2. Membership & Athlete Registration Fees

  • Fees paid for new memberships, membership renewals, or athlete registrations are strictly non-refundable.
  • These nominal charges go directly towards administrative processing, identity card generation, and maintaining athlete records.
  • If a registration is rejected by DDSA due to ineligibility, the association may, at its sole discretion, decide whether to refund the registration fee.

3. Event & Tournament Participation Fees

  • Entry fees for sports events, tournaments, or coaching camps are non-refundable if the participant cancels or withdraws from the event.
  • If DDSA cancels or significantly postpones an event due to unforeseen circumstances, the participation fee will either be refunded or adjusted against future events, as decided by the management.

4. Process for Claiming a Refund (If Applicable)

If your payment falls under the eligible criteria for a refund (such as a duplicate technical transaction), please follow these steps:

  • Write an email to info@ddsa.org.in with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Name / Transaction ID]".
  • Provide the exact date of transaction, amount, payment method, and attach a screenshot of the successful deduction.
  • Upon receiving your request, our finance team will investigate the matter. If approved, the refund will be processed back to the original mode of payment within 7 to 10 working days.

5. Right to Final Decision

The management of Delhi Divyyang Sports Association (DDSA) reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund requests. We also reserve the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
