Our Objectives

Delhi Divyyang Sports Association (DDSA) is committed to promoting inclusive sports, equal opportunities, and the overall development of persons with disabilities. The Association works with the objective of creating a supportive sporting environment where every Divyyang athlete can participate, compete, and achieve excellence while contributing to a healthier and more inclusive society.

• Promote sports, physical fitness, and recreational activities among persons with disabilities across Delhi.
• Identify, encourage, and nurture talented Divyyang athletes by providing quality coaching, guidance, and professional sports training.
• Organize district, state, national, and international sports competitions, championships, tournaments, and athletic events.
• Conduct coaching camps, workshops, seminars, fitness programmes, and sports awareness campaigns for athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
• Promote equal opportunities, inclusion, accessibility, and participation of persons with disabilities in all sporting activities without discrimination.
• Collaborate with Government departments, sports authorities, educational institutions, NGOs, and corporate organizations to strengthen sports development initiatives.
• Support athletes in obtaining sports equipment, training facilities, scholarships, financial assistance, and participation in competitive events.
• Create awareness about the importance of physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, mental well-being, and sportsmanship among persons with disabilities.
• Encourage leadership, teamwork, discipline, confidence, and social integration through sports and community engagement.
• Recognize and honour outstanding athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who contribute significantly to the promotion of inclusive sports.
• Promote women participation, youth development, and grassroots sports programmes for Divyyang communities.
• Work towards building a sustainable, transparent, and inclusive sports ecosystem that empowers every Divyyang individual to achieve their full potential and represent society with pride.
